The mission of Utah Reads is to provide effective, quality literacy support to children at Title I schools in the Salt Lake City School District. Tutors work one-on-one with children who are reading below grade level, as well as providing classroom and afterschool support. We partner with five elementary schools and one Community Learning Center in the Salt Lake City School District.

We partner with the following sites:

  • Mountain View Elementary School
  • Edison Elementary School
  • Liberty Elementary School
  • Newman Elementary School
  • Nibley Park School
  • Glendale-Mountain View Community Learning Center
