Saturday Service Projects are events hosted by the Bennion Center intended to support local community organizations through single-day direct engagement efforts. During his time teaching at the University of Utah, Lowell Bennion spent his Saturday mornings gathering available students and volunteers to join him in serving the community. Together they raked lawns and repaired homes, cleaned parks and cooked meals. Today, we honor this tradition by collaborating with local organizations and volunteers to come together seven times a year in support of our community. All are welcome to register to attend: students, staff, faculty, and community members (projects for all ages are clearly marked).
